內容簡介
義大利作曲家羅西尼，憑藉自身天賦異稟的音樂才華，18歲便完成第一部歌劇，而他以法國劇作家博馬舍同名喜劇改編的兩幕喜歌劇《塞維亞理髮師》，更將他事業推向另一波巔峰。劇中，來自塞維亞的理髮師費加洛，以機智手段瓦解邪惡監護人與見錢眼開家庭教師企圖強娶少女的陰謀，成就清純美麗少女和伯爵之間的美麗愛情。羅西尼以輕快並富有節奏感的旋律，將費加洛機智又果敢的性格勾勒出來，並在音樂旋律的堆疊下，把戲劇情緒烘托到最高潮。出神入化的音樂巧思，讓聽眾容易入耳又富有變化和趣味。整部劇渾然天成的歡樂氣氛，將羅西尼極具幽默感的人格特色表露無遺。

An extraordinary musical talent, Italian composer Gioachino Rossini completed his first opera at the age of 18. He also created the opera buffa in two acts Il barbiere di Siviglia (The Barber of Seville) with the libretto adapted from a comedy of the same name by French playwright Pierre Beaumarchais, which pushed his career to new heights. Figaro, a barber from Seville, cleverly disrupts the plot of an evil guardian and a greedy tutor to force a young woman into marriage. He then successfully brings together this pure and beautiful woman with a count and the two fall in love. Rossini used quick and rhythmic melodies to call attention to Figaro’s witty and courageous nature and with superimposed melodies brought about a dramatic and emotional finale. His superb musical genius makes this opera easy to listen to and its twists and turns are intriguing. With a natural joyful feel, it also reveals Rossini’s great sense of humor.
