老狐狸

1989年，11歲廖界與父親廖泰來慢慢存錢，以為再三年就可以買房子，但他們沒有注意到世界正在改變。房價漲了，一瞬間他們的錢變得不夠，挫敗的廖界體會到貧窮的現實。相對於父親，人稱老狐狸的房東是勝利組，似乎更能給他人生的指引。老狐狸教廖界許多社會法則，那些都是父親沒教他的。廖界在老狐狸身上學的，反過來讓他傷害了老狐狸。但另一面，他又如同自己的父親，有同理別人的特質，這個特質，使他終究沒有成為另一個老狐狸。

In 1989. Eleven-year-old Liao Jie and his father have been saving money, hoping to buy a home of their own in three years. However, they fail to notice that the world is rapidly changing. Property prices sky-rocket, and in the blink of an eye, their savings are not enough. Liao Jie comes to realize the harsh reality of being poor. In contrast to his father, their landlord“ Old Fox” emerges as a seemingly better mentor to Liao Jie. Old Fox teaches Liao Jie how to survive in society, and that is something his father has never taught him.
