Lo TaYou together with 17 outstanding musicians, through the fusion of Eastern and Western instruments, through the fusion of classical and pop music, hope to bring audiences to experience the harmonious origin of music.

"Port City New Year's Concert of Lo TaYou breaks the usual format of pop music concert, which uses massive sound reinforcement system, by bringing the audiences the most delicate and genuine acoustic sensation through performance using the most natural acoustic instruments in a professional music hall. Every audience will listen to the musicians on stage playing their notes with full concentration and passion. Everyone's soul will be touched through the musical vibrations in the air.

Every musician has a mission, in pursuing a high standard of musical & artistic expression. Artistic creation has nothing to do with failure or success, but it can make you disregard life and death, wholeheartedly engage, explore, and experiment with the potential and essence of humanity. 演出者介紹

羅大佑

羅大佑，1954年出生於醫生世家，小學開始學習鋼琴、求學期間曾組洛克斯樂團。從1976年創作開始，引領著海內外幾代華人的青春，並被無數歌手翻唱。代表作：〈明天會更好〉、〈童年〉、〈光陰的故事〉、〈你的樣子〉、〈東方之珠〉、〈戀曲1980〉、〈戀曲1990〉、〈追夢人〉等。

2023年羅大佑回到高雄，他音樂人生的啟蒙地，創作源頭的追溯與梳理，推出概念專輯《愛・河・人間》，收錄羅大佑14歲起居住高雄十年求學的生活情感與海港記憶，從舊時的鹽埕寫到今日的港都，匯聚沈澱有55年份量的思念與熱情。

歷經了近半個世紀跌宕起伏的華語樂壇，羅大佑依舊筆耕不輟，繼續在感受生活所帶給的每一個感動，並將這些感動與思考，用音樂記錄下來，希望以音樂的療癒本質，繼續帶來撫慰人心的能量。

Lo TaYou, born in 1954 into a family of doctors, began learning piano in elementary school and formed the band 'Rockers' during his school years. Starting his creative journey in 1976, he has influenced generations of Chinese youth both domestically and abroad, with many of his songs covered by countless singers. His notable works include "Tomorrow Will Be Better," "Childhood," "The Story of Time," "Your Look," "Pearl of the Orient," "Love Song 1980," "Love Song 1990," and "The Dream Chaser." 

In 2023, Lo TaYou returned to Kaohsiung, the place where his musical journey began, and released the concept album "Ai He Ren Jian" which encapsulates his life and emotional memories from ten years of schooling in Kaohsiung starting at the age of 14, capturing the essence of the harbor city from the old Yancheng District to today's 'Port City' distilling 55 years of nostalgia and passion.

Having experienced the ups and downs of the Mandarin music scene for nearly half a century, Lo Ta-You continues to diligently create, capturing every emotion life brings and recording these feelings and thoughts through music. He hopes to continue offering soothing energy with the healing nature of music.
