影子是否總是誰的附屬品呢？

七巧板劇團（Tangram Kollektiv ）在首部作品《調皮的影子》（Shades of Shadows）中，以創意與幽默，重新定義影子戲劇的可能性。影子與光總是相伴，但當影子擺脫束縛、獨立行動，世界會陷入一團混亂嗎？影子開始增生、違抗物理法則，甚至讓光成為它們的影子……？種種惡作劇隨之展開，彷彿通往另一個世界的門已然敞開。

觀眾進入一間非常特別的房間：由三面白色的畫布構成的投影空間。裡頭擺著一張桌子，一架小鋼琴，一些物件和兩支手電筒。忽然，燈光變化了，兩位木偶戲表演者帶領我們進入影子的魔幻宇宙。這是一段關於影子與主體之間關係的對話，以輕鬆詼諧的方式挑戰觀眾對於影子的認知。它讓我們對這些總是無處不在、緊緊跟隨的奇異黑影有了更深的認識——這些影子像口香糖一樣黏在我們腳下，無論跑得多快都無法擺脫。

七巧板劇團（Tangram Kollektiv）透過影子與物體的互動，以沉浸式體驗為核心，視覺與聲音景觀交織，創造出充滿層次與變化的藝術世界。巧妙運用影像設計，使其與音樂節奏同步流動，形成獨特的感官風景，帶領觀眾進入可見與不可見的交錯領域。

七巧板劇團（Tangram Kollektiv）

七巧板劇團成立於 2018 年，由探索偶戲劇新實驗和表演形式的偶戲藝術家們組成。自 2021 年起，莎拉·喬登（Sarah Chaudon）、克拉拉·帕勞·伊·埃雷羅（Clara Palau Y Herero）和托比亞斯·滕耶斯（Tobias Tönjes）成為團隊的固定成員。他們在偶藝術的領域中，不斷嘗試新的材質與物件、鑽研具實驗性與實踐性並存的表演形式。團隊的工作模式就如同團名，是一組變化多端的七巧板，在每一個計畫中，成員都會尋找新的工作方式，與不同藝術家合作。

Shadow is never just a follower. In their debut production, Shades of Shadows, the Franco-German puppetry collective Tangram Kollektiv playfully redefines the possibilities of shadow theatre with creativity and humor. Light and shadow always coexist, but what happens when shadows break free, moving independently? Will the world descend into chaos? Shadows begin to multiply, defy the laws of physics, and even turn light into their shadow. Mischief unfolds, as if a door to another world has quietly swung open.

Audiences step into a very peculiar room—an imaginative projection space made of three white canvases. A table, a small piano, a few objects, and two flashlights set the stage. Suddenly, the lights shift, and two puppeteers guide us into a magical universe of shadows. In a playful yet thought-provoking dialogue between shadows and their sources, this performance challenges the audience’s perception of hierarchy, flipping the relationship between subject/shadow. We begin to see these ever-present, inescapable silhouettes in a new light, as if they are stubborn pieces of gum, stuck to our feet eternally.

Through the dynamic interplay of shadows and objects, Tangram Kollektiv effortlessly questions traditional structures, urging the audience to reconsider the nature of these unavoidable dark companions. At its core, Shades of Shadows is an immersive experience where visual and soundscapes intertwine, creating a multi-layered artistic universe. Thoughtfully designed imagery flows in sync with the rhythm of the music, shaping a unique sensory landscape that invites audiences into the intersection of the seen and unseen.

For both children and adults, this performance is a delightful adventure—one that transforms light, shadow, and sound into a boundless playground for the imagination.

【Performing Group】

Tangram Kollektiv

Tangram Kollektiv is a young Franco-German ensemble of puppetry artists dedicated to experimenting with new forms of puppet theatre and performance. The six members first met while studying at the Stuttgart University of Music and Performing Arts (HMDK) and have since focused on exploring materials, objects, and innovative storytelling techniques within the field of puppetry. Their structure resembles an expandable tangram—a Chinese puzzle of seven interlocking pieces—allowing them to adapt their collaboration methods for each project and frequently work with other artists.

Shades of Shadows was co-produced by Tangram Kollektiv and Osnabrück’s "Alte Fuhrhalterei" Puppet Theatre. The production received the Fox Award for Innovation in Puppetry 2020 - HIP Festival Hvammstangi, Iceland, and was longlisted for the 2021 "Augenblick mal!" festival for young audiences.
