畢契科夫＆趙成珍＆捷克愛樂管絃樂團

捷克愛樂總監畢契科夫領軍捷克百年名團來台，攜手當代鋼琴巨星鋼琴家趙成珍，獻上一場靈動與戲劇性的音樂之旅。作曲家拉威爾在1928年訪美巡演後，深受美國爵士樂節奏與和聲啟發而創作G大調鋼琴協奏曲，不僅讓管絃樂團展現出爵士風格的律動及音色，更凸顯鋼琴的輕盈活力。蕭邦大賽首獎得主趙成珍以深刻的技巧與詩意的音色，詮釋這部充滿對比的作品。下半場則是柴可夫斯基的第五號交響曲，這部交響曲以命運為主題，以作曲家標誌性的濃郁配器聲響色彩著稱，從憂鬱到凱旋，充滿戲劇張力與情感激盪。俄裔美籍的指揮大師畢契科夫指揮世界頂尖樂團捷克愛樂，以細膩且富戲劇性的詮釋，帶領樂團展現從細緻婉約到氣勢磅礴，為樂迷帶來震撼的交響體驗。

Maestro Semyon BYCHKOV leads the renowned Czech Philharmonic to Taiwan, joining piano virtuoso CHO Seong-jin for an evening of brilliance. Inspired by his 1928 U.S. tour, RAVEL infused his Piano Concerto in G Major with jazz rhythms and harmonies, blending orchestral energy with the piano's agility and vibrancy. CHO, a Chopin Competition winner, brings a profound and poetic touch to this contrasting work. The second half features TCHAIKOVSKY's Symphony No. 5, centered on the theme of fate and known for its rich orchestration and dramatic intensity. Moving from melancholy to triumph, it brims with emotion and grandeur. BYCHKOV leads the Czech Philharmonic with a refined yet powerful interpretation, balancing delicate lyricism with commanding intensity for an unforgettable symphonic experience.

Among the significant joint achievements of Semyon BYCHKOV and the Czech Philharmonic is the release of a 7-CD box set devoted to TCHAIKOVSKY's symphonic repertoire and a series of international residencies. In 2024, Semjon BYCHKOV with the Czech Philharmonic concentrated on recording Czech music – a CD was released with Bedřich SMETANAʼs My Homeland and Antonín DVOŘÁK's last three symphonies and ouvertures. 

BYCHKOVʼs repertoire spans four centuries. His highly anticipated performances are a unique combination of innate musicality and rigorous Russian pedagogy. In addition to guest engagements with the world's major orchestras and opera houses, BYCHKOV holds honorary titles with the BBC Symphony Orchestra – with whom he appears annually at the BBC Proms – and the Royal Academy of Music, who awarded him an Honorary Doctorate in July 2022. BYCHKOV was named "Conductor of the Year" by the International Opera Awards in 2015 and by Musical America in 2022. 

BYCHKOV's 1993 recording of TCHAIKOVSKY's Eugene Onegin with the Orchestre de Paris continues to win awards, most recently the Gramophone Collection 2021; WAGNER's Lohengrin was BBC Music Magazine's Record of the Year (2010); and SCHMIDT's Symphony No. 2 with the Vienna Philharmonic was BBC Music Magazine's Record of the Month (2018).

趙成珍被公認為當代最傑出的鋼琴家之一，也是當今音樂舞台上最獨特的藝術家。憑藉天生的音樂才華與純熟的藝術造詣，他的演奏既充滿思想性與詩意，又技藝精湛、色彩豐富，能將華麗與純粹完美融合，展現令人印象深刻的自然平衡感。他那充滿魅力的表現力與獨到的詮釋，為他贏得全球一致讚譽。

趙成珍於2015年在華沙舉行的蕭邦國際鋼琴大賽中獲得首獎後，聲名大噪，事業從此蒸蒸日上。2016年初，他與德意志留聲機唱片公司簽約，並於2023年獲頒享有盛名的三星湖巖藝術獎，以表彰他對古典音樂的卓越貢獻。

2024/25樂季，趙成珍擔任柏林愛樂駐團藝術家，在整個樂季中與樂團進行多項合作，包括協奏曲演出、室內樂合作、巴登-巴登復活節音樂節巡演及獨奏會。

CHO Seong-jin has established himself worldwide as one of the leading pianists of his generation and most distinctive artists on the current music scene. With an innate musicality and consummate artistry, his thoughtful and poetic, virtuosic, and colourful playing can combine panache with purity and is driven by an impressive natural sense of balance. He is celebrated unanimously across the globe for his expressive magic and illuminative insights.

CHO Seong-jin was brought to the world's attention in 2015 when he won First Prize at the Chopin International Competition in Warsaw, and his career has rapidly ascended since. In early 2016, he signed an exclusive contract with Deutsche Grammophon and, in 2023, CHO was awarded the prestigious Samsung Ho-Am Prize in the Arts in recognition of his exceptional contributions to the world of classical music.

In the 2024/25 season CHO Seong-jin takes up the mantle of Artist in Residence with the Berliner Philharmoniker, a position which sees CHO work with the orchestra on multiple projects across the season including concerto performances, chamber music collaborations, on tour to the Osterfestspiele Baden-Baden, and in recital.

Czech Philharmonic 

The 124 year-old Czech Philharmonic gave its first concert, an all DVOŘÁK programme conducted by the composer himself – in the famed Rudolfinum Hall on 4 January 1896. Acknowledged for its definitive interpretations of Czech composers, the Orchestra is also recognised for the special relationship it has to the music of BRAHMS, TCHAIKOVSKY and MAHLER, who conducted the world première of his Symphony No. 7 with the Orchestra in 1908.

The Czech Philharmonic's extraordinary and proud history reflects both its location at the very heart of Europe and the Czech Republic's turbulent political history, for which SMETANA's Má vlast (My Homeland) has become a potent symbol. In 1945, Chief Conductor Rafael KUBELÍK conducted the work as a 'concert of thanks'  for the newly liberated Czechoslovakia and 45 years later, Má vlast was KUBELÍK's choice to mark Czechoslovakia's first free elections. For the opening subscription concert of the 2019/20 season, Chief Conductor and Music Director Semyon BYCHKOV will conduct Má vlast with the Czech Philharmonic for the first time.

BYCHKOV's and the Czech Philharmonic's second season together also sees the culmination of their The TCHAIKOVSKY Project which includes the boxset release on Decca Classics followed by residencies in Prague, Tokyo, Vienna and Paris. Elsewhere in the season, they travel to Taiwan, Russia, China and Spain, as well as giving concerts at home including the Czech première of GLANERT's Requiem fur Hieronymus Bosch alongside performances of works by BERIO, DUTILLEUX, MARTINŮ, BRAHMS, SHOSTAKOVICH, BEETHOVEN and MAHLER.
