2025臺南藝術節: 維帢亞・阿塔瑪 《父親唱過的歌（五月的三天）》

《父親唱過的歌（五月的三天）》聚焦於曼谷一個狹小的廚房空間。

兄妹倆在五月的三個不同年份的日子裡，回到這個空間，舉行傳統的中式儀式，

紀念已故的父親。他們一起做菜、吃飯、聊天，談論著一些無關緊要的話題。

兄妹倆低調內斂的性格，與他們展開的引人入勝、甚至時而荒謬的對話形成鮮明對比。

過去、現在與未來在劇中悄然交融，並與泰國都市的政治背景產生連結。

這齣戲如實呈現生活的樣貌，不試圖掩飾其疏離或荒謬之處。

角色的言語並不遵循邏輯，也不一定通往明確的結局。

導演｜維恰亞．阿塔瑪（Wichaya Artamat）

維恰亞．阿塔瑪是泰國劇團「為了什麼劇團（For What Theatre）」的成員。

大學主修電影，卻深受現場表演吸引，

自2008年擔任曼谷劇場藝術節（Bangkok Theatre Festival）專案統籌後，正式踏入劇場領域。

2009年加入「新劇場協會（New Theatre Society）」，逐步發展出具實驗性與非典型敘事風格的導演語彙，廣受矚目。

維恰亞．阿塔瑪特別關注社會如何透過某些特定的「日曆之日」來記憶或遺忘歷史。

他於2011年共同創辦「為了什麼劇團」，並積極參與「Sudvisai Club」與「Collective Thai Scripts」等藝術組織。

「為了什麼劇團」
成立於 2014 年，由維帢亞・阿塔瑪（Wichaya Artamat）、莎莎賓・希芮旺吉（Sasapin Siriwanij）與 Ben Busarakhamwong 共同創辦，成立劇團時，三位創辦人皆已是劇場中活躍的表演者與創作者。「為了什麼劇團」如同一座實驗表演創作的遊樂場，其作品涵蓋多種形式，包括對白劇、紀錄劇場、偶戲、行為藝術、攝影、影像與裝置藝術。

除了多角度探討泰國社會與政治中複雜而棘手的議題之外，「為了什麼劇團」亦致力於反思「劇場」這一概念本身——在泰國語境中，「劇場」這個詞往往被視為帶有固定、難以撼動的價值。

【About the Performance】

This Song Father Used to Sing (Three Days in May) zeroes in on a small kitchen space in Bangkok. Abrother and sister live through three days there in May, each time in a different calendar year, tocommemorate their deceased father in a traditional Chinese ceremony. They cook, eat, chat and jokeabout nothing in particular. Their retiring nature contrasts with the captivating and often absurdconversations they engage in. Past, present and future blend subtly and are connected to the politicalcontext of the Thai metropolis. The play shows life as it is, without drawing a veil over its alienatingcharacter. The characters’ statements do not serve any logic and neither do they lead to a clear end.

About For What Theatre

Founded in 2014, by Wichaya Artamat, Sasapin Siriwanji, and Ben Busarakamwong who were already active members of other theater troupes, For What Theatre is a playground for experimenting with performance-making. Their work has taken multiple forms: spoken play, documentary theater, puppet theater, performance art, photography, video, and installation. Besides diversely dealing with the problematic and complex nature of Thai society and politics, For What Theatre also strives to question the concept of “theater” itself - a term around which in Thailand’s context seems to have fixed, unaffectable values.
