週刊記者陳怡靜為追查一起連續命案，接觸到一個神祕團體—福緣讀經班，卻意外碰見久別的母親。這迫使陳怡靜直視自己不願想起的過往，那個因遭控性侵而自殺的父親以及破碎家庭。在心中最深沉恐懼逐漸發酵之際，陳怡靜赫然發現讀經班成員都和她正在追查的案件有關。一念天堂，一念地獄，陳怡靜會如何選擇，保住自己最後的家人？

金鐘最佳編劇詹傑與《藝術之子》導演黃郁晴「罪」新力作，攜手包括謝瓊煖、徐堰鈴等臺灣不同世代九位傑出表演者，爬梳「日月明功」等新聞案件，透過記者視角切入，揭露人心的脆弱如何被利用與操控，隱藏在背後的社會樣貌又究竟為何—所謂真相，會不會根本不存在。

delving into the deepest fears and dreams of human nature.

Weekly magazine journalist Chen Yi-jing, in reporting of a series of murders, encounters a cryptic group known as the Fu Yuan Scripture Study Class and unexpectedly reunites with her long-lost mother. This forces Chen Yi-jing to confront her suppressed past, haunted by the memories of her father, who died by suicide after being accused of sexual assault, and her shattered family. As her deepest fears gradually intensify, she discovers a shocking connection between the members of the scripture study class and the case she is investigating. A single misstep can lead to irreversible consequences. Chen Yi-jing must make a choice to protect her remaining loved ones. 

Golden-Bell-Award-winning screenwriter Zhan Jie and Huang Yu-ching, director of Man of the Theatre, present their new collaboration. They bring together nine exceptional performers from different generations in Taiwan, including Hsieh Chiung-hsuan and Hsu Yen-ling. The story unfolds along with the investigation of a news case through the perspective of a journalist and delves into the vulnerability of human nature and how it can be exploited and manipulated. What lies hidden beneath the surface of society? Does the so-called truth even exist?

創作者介紹

編劇｜詹傑

影視暨舞台劇編劇，曾任國家兩廳院駐館藝術家（2021-2022年），創作橫跨影視、劇場、動畫等不同領域。劇場作品有：《逆旅》、《白色說書人》、《微塵．望鄉》、音樂劇《麗晶卡拉OK的最後一夜》、《勸世三姊妹》等，影像作品有：《長不大的爸爸》、《天黑請閉眼》、《花甲男孩轉大人》等，多次入圍金鐘獎最佳編劇，並以《刺蝟男孩》獲第四十九屆金鐘獎最佳編劇。

Playwright｜Zhan Jie

Playwright Zhan Jie specializes in writing for film, television, and stage productions. A former resident artist at the National Theater & Concert Hall, his works span fields like film, theater, animation, and more. His achievement as a playwright was recognized with the Best Screenplay award at the 49th Golden Bell Awards for his work Boys Can Fly.

導演｜黃郁晴

劇場導演、演員、劇本翻譯、戲劇教育工作者，任教於國立臺北藝術大學戲劇學系，曾任國家兩廳院駐館藝術家（2021-2022年），並且長期與不同劇團展開合作計畫。擅長文本裏人物關係的解讀和分析，其中特別深入女性角色的立體度及複雜性。近年導演作品包括：2023TIFA《藝術之子》、2021TIFA《浮光流影》等。

Director｜Huang Yu-ching

Huang Yu-ching is a theater director, script translator, actor, and educator. She was also a resident artist at the NTCH. Her works feature poetic style of delicacy and tenderness, especially dealing with human relationship and female character interpretation.
