英國當代舞壇最炙手可熱的編舞大師，侯非胥・謝克特（Hofesh Shechter）以搖滾般的能量打造全新舞作《潛夢劇場》（Theatre of Dreams），2024年首演即震撼巴黎市立劇院（Theatre de La Ville），緊接著在倫敦沙德勒之井劇院（Sadler's Wells Theatre）大獲好評，隨後展開橫跨荷蘭、義大利、法國、比利時、盧森堡、奧地利與德國的國際巡演。舞作橫跨嘻哈、民族到夜店舞風，舞者恍如被推入潛意識，催眠般的動作與現場擊奏的鼓點交織，透過燈光的流暢切換、劇場簾幕的精準開闔，創造宛如電影特效的震撼奇景。

貫穿全作的14名舞者始終舞動不止，無論夢境或現實、不問苦難或歡快，90分鐘毫無歇息。這不只是一場衝擊感官的體驗，侯非胥更要引領觀眾潛入夢境深處，揭露恐懼、欲望與現實中的多種情感，藉眼前痛苦中依然歡快跳舞的群體，向眾人拋出拷問靈魂的提問——是回應現實的映照，還是潛入夢境？你願清醒著加入，還是躺平墜入深處？

Heavy curtains act as a portal to the subconscious. As they open, desires and fears are revealed. As they close, latent rhythms tug at the heartstrings.

Hofesh Shechter, one of the most sought-after choreographers on the British contemporary dance scene, has been hailed as a blend of dancer and rock star, a choreographic genius with a cinematic flair who creates works of raw energy. In Theatre of Dreams, his new work, he continues to present his intense creative energy, this time with montages. Dance styles cover the spectrum, with elements of hip-hop and folk dances, as well as frenetic party moves. The shifting between light and shadow and the opening and closing of the curtains are like undercurrents, with drumbeats like the rhythms of fate. The dancers alternate between melancholic swaying and frantic movements throughout this 90-minute performance. The result is a relentless flow as thrilling dance movements are constantly presented.

編舞家侯非胥．謝克特來自以色列的背景成為其獨特風格基底，巧妙轉譯當代與民族的舞蹈語彙，以充滿爆發力和感染力的舞作驚艷全球，時常身兼音樂創作，成為肢體跳動的催化劑，如電影手法的敘事結構，更為作品打造獨樹一格的空間與氛圍。其代表作《Political Mother》、《The Art of Not Looking Back》、《Sun》、《barbarians》與《Grand Finale》以原始的身體能量、電影般的燈光與原創音樂相結合，塑造出他的標誌性風格。 侯非胥的編舞作品曾由多個國際頂尖舞團演出，包括艾文·艾利美國舞蹈劇院、瑪莎·葛蘭姆舞團、巴黎歌劇院芭蕾舞團與英國皇家芭蕾舞團，也曾受紐約大都會歌劇院委託創作。他的舞蹈電影《Clowns》與《Political Mother: The Final Cut》獲得國際讚譽，其中《The Final Cut》更獲得坎城影展「最佳舞蹈電影」。

Hofesh Shechter OBE is a choreographer, composer, and Artistic Director of the UK-based Hofesh Shechter Company. Famed for his visceral, rhythm-driven works, his defining pieces—Political Mother, The Art of Not Looking Back, Sun, barbarians, and Grand Finale—combine raw physicality with cinematic lighting and original scores. Shechter's choreography has been staged by major companies including Alvin Ailey, Martha Graham, Paris Opera Ballet, and the Royal Ballet, and commissioned by the Metropolitan Opera. His films Clowns and Political Mother: The Final Cut have earned international acclaim, including Best Dance Film at Cannes. He is Associate Artist at Sadler's Wells and was awarded an OBE for Services to Dance in 2018. On Broadway, he choreographed the 2016 revival of Fiddler on the Roof, and co-directed with Matthew Warchus a new adaptation of Oedipus starring Rami Malek and Indira Varma.
